Adult Swim Lessons Instructor- Redmond Pool

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible swim instructors to join our team! In this role, you will provide high quality swim instruction to children of various skill levels, and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with kids, have strong swimming skills, and can create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

Wave Swim School Lessons:

• Educate and instruct swimmers of all ages and abilities in water safety, stroke techniques, and swimming fundamentals.

• Develop lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of the student.

• Provide high quality, constructive feedback on swimmers stroke techniques skills.

• Communicate effectively with the Deck Manager/Head Guard and parents on student progress in person and on internal student progress tracking software.

• Set up and tear down swim
  lesson supplies to maintain a clean and organized pool area.

• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, following emergency action plans.

Facility Maintenance/Safety:

• Enforce pool rules and regulations.

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment by enforcing pool rules and monitoring swimmers closely.

• Perform daily checks and report damages to swim lesson equipment.

• Respond to emergency situations per the emergency action plan.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Must have swim
  instructing experience

• High School Diploma (in progress ok).

• Ability to respond and operationalize emergency action plans in case of emergency.
