Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary:
The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for die maintenance, repair, rework, and fabrication of components to ensure tooling is production ready. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and collaboration to support our manufacturing processes and maintain high product quality standards.
The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for die maintenance, repair, rework, and fabrication of components to ensure tooling is production ready. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and collaboration to support our manufacturing processes and maintain high product quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repair, maintenance, and rework of dies as needed
- Machine new parts for dies and perform changeovers for different production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Fabricate tooling components from written or verbal instructions
- Set up and operate machine shop equipment (grinders, mills, lathes, etc.)
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure tolerances
- Troubleshoot and maintain dies and tooling components to support uptime
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain inventory of spare parts
- Accurately document tooling repairs, modifications, and development
- Collaborate with apprentices and mentor less-experienced team members
- Use CAD software when needed (SolidWorks experience preferred)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing or stamping environment
- Proficiency with machine shop equipment and precision measuring tools
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
