Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves developing personalized therapy plans, providing direct intervention, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patients in achieving improved communication and overall quality of life. The SLP will play a critical role in helping patients overcome barriers to effective speech and language functioning in educational, clinical, or community settings.
Duties:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and communication disorders through formal and informal evaluations.
- Provide one-on-one and/or group therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language development, fluency, and vocal quality.
- Monitor progress through regular documentation and make data-informed adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Offer counseling, education, and support to patients and their families regarding communication challenges and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including educators, physicians, and family members, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient or student.
