Quality Auditor - Now Hiring

Plastipak is hiring for a Night Shift Quality Auditor at our Jackson Center, OH location. Our Quality Auditors play a vital role in ensuring our products maintain quality standards.

As a Quality Auditor, you collect information to support the production of high quality plastic packaging that meets customer specifications. You'll join our team of collaborative associates focused on manufacturing the best quality packing for household brands and products that you use everyday.

What You Will Do

• Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality

• Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications

• Create and modify test plans using SAP

• Conduct regular audits regarding non-conforming product

• Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance

What You Need

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• At least one year of manufacturing work experience, with a strong preference for Quality experience

• Superior attention to detail

• Familiarity with standard operating procedure (SOP) documents

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to navigate our ERP system (SAP), including retrieving and entering data, locating documents, conducting transactions and compiling reports

• Ability to walk and stand on production floor throughout shift with or without a reasonable accommodation

Shifts & Pay: $19.50/hr

• Nights: 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (3-2-2-3 schedule)

• 3rd Shift: 12:00 am - 8:00 am Monday - Friday
