Facility Security Officer – Lititz, PA The Opportunity Our client is a local electronics manufacturer supplying the defense industry. They have hired us to seek out a Facility Security Officer for their Lititz, PA location. This position reports to the VP, Human Resources and is responsible for implementing, managing, and auditing compliance of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) for all security activities at the facility. Key Responsibilities: Interfacing with personnel and government management to ensure contract security compliance Ensuring safeguarding of classified material including document registry and storage Managing facility access, perimeter controls, and closed area requirements Establishing security procedures and oversee security education and training activities Qualifications: Required: Top Secret clearance required with current active status BA/BS degree with 5+ years personnel/industrial security experience OR 8+ years without degree Knowledge of NISPOM, DoD directives, DCIDs/ICDS, and government security directives COMSEC Custodian certificate or equivalent experience required FSO Certification and training completed Preferred: Working knowledge with DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and NISS systems Experience with DCSA security vulnerability assessments Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
