Fisher Arnold (FA) is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist  for the environmental group in our Memphis, TN office. We are seeking to grow upon our existing client base and are seeking a self-motivated client focused professional to assist with the growth and development of our environmental group. This Senior Environmental Specialist will participate in technical duties that include:

  • Complete environmental field work as needed within established deadlines.
  • Project documentation and technical report writing.
  • Complete field project assignments such as construction inspections and documentation
  • Complete technical field work including soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling
  • Complete Industrial regulatory compliance projects as directed (SWPPP, SPCC)
  • Some travel required.

This Senior  Environmental Specialist shall have the necessary communication and environmental writing skills, along with the enthusiasm necessary to manage complex projects and demanding schedules. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Senior Environmental Specialist must have a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of environmental consulting industry work experience.
  • Must have strong proven technical report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of work in soil and groundwater sampling is a plus. 
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER is required.
  • Prefer the 8-hour annual refresher training is up to date.
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Environmental Credential such as PE, PG, or CHMM preferred
  • EPSC Level I Preferred

Education:
Must have Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology or closely related environmental field.
