Maintenance Mechanic

Night Shift/$25-$35/hr + shift diff/Good benefits

We are working with a automotive manufacturer who is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic. They service the locomotive, shipping, mechanical, press, oil and gas compression markets. It is a small company with multiple facilities in the area. They are known to offer good benefits and a strong family environment. This specific role is looking for someone who is multi-craft, emphasis on the mechanical side, and is strong with troubleshooting PLC. (This role is located in Hermitage, PA)

Responsibilities:

• Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment
• Installing and upgrading new and current equipment to adhere to LEAN Principles
• Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis
• Assisting with other duties, assignments and projects as require

Requirements:

• Two years related experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practices
• Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Basic knowledge in AC and DC motor drive controls
• Experience with PLC Controls (Siemens SIMOTION, Siemens Step 7, Allen Bradley Studio 5000)
