This opportunity is based in a comprehensive medical center where you will be responsible for both hematology and oncology patients. The schedule offers a balanced array of outpatient consults and follow-ups, with an additional component of hospital and ER call duties in the evenings and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse patient panel of approximately 15-20 patients per day with a focus on both hematology and oncology.
• Conduct up to 4 new consults per day, with follow-up appointments scheduled accordingly.
• Responsible for admitting new patients and handling hospital and ER calls.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
• Active BLS certification
• Eligible for credentialing in 90-120 days

Working Hours

• Regular outpatient hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities for hospital and ER include phone calls and in-hospital duties.

Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR for documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume patient load efficiently
