Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a CRNA Anesthesia for a locum tenens job in Salem, Virginia.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call: None – no nights, weekends, or call
Primary Role: Standard OR anesthesia coverage under medical direction with anesthesiologists

Candidate Requirements

Board Status: Board Eligible/Board Certified
Certification: Active NBCRNA certification required for hospital credentialing
Experience: Open to recent graduates; spinal experience preferred but not required
Procedures Required:
- General Surgery
- Endoscopy
- Gynecology
- Orthopedics (including spine, total joints)
- Robotics (DaVinci)
- Urology
- OB anesthesia
- Cath Lab & IR Lab
Not Required: Cardiac, epidural, or peripheral nerve blocks

Practice Details

Setting: Main/General ORs; specialized providers may float as needed
Care Team Model: CRNAs working under anesthesiologist medical direction
Support Staff: RNs, Certified Surgical Technologists, limited Licensed Surgical Assistants (no APPs outside physician practices)
Volume: 25–35 OR cases per day
Facility: 11 ORs + 2 cardiac ORs
Trauma: Level II (in process)

- DaVinci robotics
- Total joints
- General surgery
- GYN, breast, plastics
- Urology
- ENT
- Pediatric dental
- OB/L&D
- Pain management
- CVOR (only for select CRNAs with specialized training)
EMR: Paper charting system (no EMR)
