Job Description
The Junior Field Manager is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to build a career in construction field operations. This role supports full-time Field Managers in day-to-day job site responsibilities and will be trained and developed to promote into a Field Manager role within 6 to 12 months or when the next opportunity becomes available.
The Junior Field Manager will assist with lot tracking, job site coordination, material runs, and serve as a backup for Field Managers during vacations or absences. This is a hands-on role requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn the construction process from the ground up.
Essential Functions
Assist Field Managers with coordinating cabinet installations on job sites.
Conduct pre-installation, in-progress, and post-installation site checks.
Track lot progress and support material deliveries and inventory management.
Communicate with builder superintendents and subcontractors as directed.
Learn to identify and resolve field issues and ensure installation quality.
Fill in for Field Managers when needed and provide site coverage support.
Participate in training and job shadowing to build knowledge of trade installation processes and builder expectations.
Perform other field duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
No prior field management experience required—willing to train.
Previous experience or coursework in construction, carpentry, or project coordination a plus.
Strong interest in growing into a leadership role in the field.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
