We are seeking a skilled Traveling Agricultural Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and proven experience in a similar role. This role involves traveling to various job sites, where you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing grain bins and grain elevators.
Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites daily and manage logistics independently.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to build platforms and handrails.
- Repair and maintain machinery, including drive chains, gearboxes, bearings, and belts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress clearly.
- Operate precision tools and instruments with proficiency.
- Conduct machinery alignment and maintenance tasks.
- Work on high-profile projects involving structural steel construction and machinery erection.
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as installation, maintenance, or repair of machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using precision tools and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including a drug screen.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Experience with welding and fabrication, including MIG and TIG techniques.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with heavy equipment, cranes, and industrial maintenance.
- Ability to work in extreme heat and other challenging conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
