Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting in Lake Wales, FL. This contract role supports student assessments, interventions, and collaborates with educators and families to promote positive academic and social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret results to guide student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies for students with behavioral or emotional challenges
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and develop appropriate educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification for Florida
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
