Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 educational setting located in Katy, TX. This contract position runs through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, offering both full-time and flexible three-day-a-week schedules. Candidates will deliver speech therapy to junior high or elementary students, supporting their communication and language development needs within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable educational and clinical standards
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- Credentials such as SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), SLP - CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), or SLP - School license preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school staff
