About The Position

Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular Surgery, Florida - Locums in Clearwater

Join a busy CV/CT surgical team in sunny Clearwater, Florida with consistent weekday shifts and beeper call coverage.

Highlights

• 4x10 weekday shifts with rotating call
• Long-term locums assignment with flexible start
• Vein harvesting proficiency required

Practice Setting

• Inpatient role on a CV/CT surgical team
• Cerner EMR
• Beeper call required with 1:5 night rotation and 1 weekend/month

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm
• Night call: 5 pm to 7 am, 1:5 rotation
• One weekend of call per month
• Start date: January 1, 2026

Cases and Procedures

• First assist in OR for CV and CT cases
• Vein harvesting required
• All perioperative support roles

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Certified PA-C
• Active Florida license required
• Must have prior cardiovascular surgical experience

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
• All travel requires pre-approval
