Environmental Project Supervisor

JOB FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for managing all efforts at customer locations for the FEM Customized

Sustainability Program, including but not limited to training, recycling, cost savings, waste management,

etc. Ensures that all duties are performed in accordance to applicable environmental, health and safety

and customer rules and regulations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage waste/recycling management activities including inventory of waste/recycling

materials, waste/recycling shipment preparation/off-site disposal.

2. Coordinate all transportation for waste/recycling activities.

3. Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and employees.

4. Provide a safe work environment for all employees.

5. Ensure all customer accounts are current so there are no disruptions in service.

6. Communicate new ideas to facility and effectively selling them to management.

7. Manage financial goals and budgets set by the customer.

8. Coordinate cost savings as well as accuracy of invoices from suppliers and invoices to the

customer.

9. Negotiate with suppliers on leasing/buying equipment.

10. Coordinate supplier and customer facility visits/audits.

11. Present cost savings results to management.

12. Complete all required MPW (FEM) Human Resources and Health & Safety training, in addition

to customer specific required training.

13. Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field, preferred.

2. 2+ years of experience in similar environment.

3. 3+ years of Supervisory capacity with direct responsibility for human relations issues.

4. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw vivid conclusions.

5. Proficiency with all MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point)

6. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.

7. Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) desired.

8. Professional Engineer (PE) registration desired.
