Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Position Overview:
Bravo Recruiting Solutions Corp. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our nursing management in providing compassionate and efficient care to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for mentoring nursing staff in a wide range of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive working environment that encourages growth and professional development.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to monitor quality of care and patient outcomes.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of patient care activities, in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Aid in managing patient care activities and resolving any complaints or issues related to the nursing department.
- Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, nursing practices, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records and other healthcare management software.
