Electronics Technician III Location: Columbus IN / On-Site /Day Shift Pay Rate: $25.50/hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8-hour flexible shift) Required Skills Electronic circuits Troubleshooting systems/skills Electronic tools and data measurement systems Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technician or similar role Job Summary Cummins fixed bid partner will support CSE Controls Lab operations efforts onsite during the day shift in GOB. The role involves troubleshooting, setups, tool development, and supporting test systems and lab operations. Key Responsibilities Complete assigned work orders as directed through the CSE Controls Lab work order system Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and test system environment setup and maintenance Resolve daily test system/equipment hardware and software issues Support daily setups and configuration changes for HIL test systems and test equipment Ensure required software support items are installed on benches (e.g., CyberApps plant models, LUIS configurations, support sequences) Modify existing test bench wiring harnesses and create peripheral connections to integrate engine parts, instruments, and sensors Maintain system configuration documentation (hardware, cards, serial numbers, etc.) Perform system setup, maintenance, calibration, and process improvements Maintain CAN panel configuration documentation Conduct harness maintenance checkouts and updates Configure and maintain actuator carts Support equipment hardware checkouts and ensure timely return Collaborate with hardware engineers on project support needs Support electronic test custom development, including hardware documentation and builds (e.g., ROM boot setups, harness creation, power supply integration) Provide daily lab support and contribute to troubleshooting efforts Develop and update troubleshooting guides Contribute to training, training material updates, and team knowledge sharing Assist with inventory, lab maintenance, and continuous improvement projects System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
