The Manager of Parking Strategy and Operations Innovation will lead lead the evolution of our parking portfolio through high-level consulting, smart technology deployment, and strategic innovation. This role sits at the intersection of business development, operations, and product leadership, responsible for turning long-range transitions and emerging parking technologies into scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
Garage & Surface Lot Transitions & Strategic Consulting
Lead multi-year consulting engagements with property owners, developers, and municipalities, often before any operational handoff takes place.
Own the full lifecycle of garage transitions-from initial strategy and planning through equipment installation, staffing recommendations, pricing models, and go-live execution.
Architect and implement scalable systems to reduce manual overhead and increase reliability across enforcement and validation workflows.
Train and enable internal teams once processes are refined, with a focus on long-term operational stability and performance.
Act as a key player in identifying and closing new business opportunities tied to modern parking technologies and enhanced operational strategies.
Product and Technology Development
Serve as product lead for company-wide rollout of License Plate Recognition (LPR) enforcement-fixed and mobile-across gated, ungated, and hybrid parking environments.
Direct cross-functional integrations between Genetec Security Center and third-party providers (e.g., ParkMobile, The Hammer, ParkEngage, T2, SpotHero, Parkpliant, etc.) for seamless enforcement, payment, and customer validation flows.
Oversee the strategic deployment of LPR vehicles, gate logic, and enforcement automation across surface lots and garages.
Develop and enhance internal platforms (PPS Validation Portals, Client Portals, Mobile Apps) that support residents, commercial clients, and enforcement personnel.
Maintain forward-looking market knowledge to evolve products in step with industry trends (e.g., contactless payments, AI-driven enforcement, sustainability initiatives).

Project Ownership & Team Enablement
Architect and implement scalable systems to reduce manual overhead and increase reliability across enforcement and validation workflows.
Serve as internal expert for training, process documentation, and operational handoffs once systems are stable.
Position the company as a market leader against major competitors through differentiated product offerings, advanced LPR enforcement systems, and client-forward consulting.
Direct the planning and execution of complex deployments, including gates, cameras, enforcement automation, and software interfaces.
Act as the subject-matter expert across enforcement, validation, payment systems, and aggregator integrations.
Qualifications:
5+ years in parking operations, consulting, or smart mobility, with proven experience leading multi-year, high-complexity projects.
Proven success managing large-scale infrastructure projects, garage transitions, or enforcement systems.
Deep knowledge of LPR enforcement systems, gated/ungated parking models, and integration architecture (especially API-based platforms).
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate vision into execution across internal and external teams.
Strong technical acumen; comfort managing cross-platform software and hardware deployments.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to build structure around ambiguity.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require travel to client sites, industry events, and meetings.
The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate client schedules or industry events.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to oversee new operations and scout new locations.
Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
This is an in-office position.
