Maintenance Tech

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a top-notch Service Tech for premium capital machinery. Responsibilities: - Technical support over the phone / email o diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, directing the customer on how to remedy the respective problem / determine which part may be faulty; creating sales orders for replacement parts, if necessary o training customers in proper use of machines purchased - Hands-on support at customer site o helping with machine installations and updates, as well as repairs The position comes with moderate travel requirements (up to 25%). - General Warehouse / Showroom Duties o Be ready willing and able to operate a forklift/pallet jack § Load/unload heavy machines and crates from containers and trucks § Assist the parts department in receiving and shipping a variety of parts using UPS shipping software § Keep the showroom organized Qualifications: o an electromechanical background and 5+ years of experience working on capital machinery o ability to manage administrative tasks such as writing service reports and making travel arrangements in a timely fashion o must be 100% reliable and service-oriented, able to build a good rapport with customers
