Bartender

Schedule: Part-Time / Event-Based (Weekends & Evenings)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, personable, and professional Bartender to join our event team at a premier Long Island wedding and event destination. As part of our front-of-house staff, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences with exceptional service, attention to detail, and a polished presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each event
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests
• Adhere to all alcohol service laws and venue policies
• Assist in bar setup and breakdown before and after events
• Communicate effectively with event staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service
• Handle cash or POS transactions (if applicable) responsibly

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in banquet, catering, or upscale event settings
• Valid NYS bartending certification / ATAP training (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and classic cocktails
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
