Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead our site’s SNUG program efforts. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the site’s team and implementing the SNUG model by operationalizing its core components: outreach, community mobilization, public education, and victim services. The successful candidate will ensure the adoption of best practices while serving as the primary liaison between the site, the parent organization, and statewide SNUG leadership.
The Program Manager must be available to respond to incidents at any time and will play a key leadership role in promoting violence prevention and community safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of the SNUG program at the site level.
Supervise and support outreach workers and other program staff.
Coordinate and oversee community mobilization and public education activities.
Ensure delivery of victim services in accordance with program standards.
Serve as the main point of contact with the parent organization and statewide SNUG leadership.
Monitor program effectiveness and ensure adherence to best practices.
Maintain readiness to respond to urgent incidents at any time.
Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Services or related work.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with community organizations, law enforcement, and diverse populations.
Valid New York State Driver’s License (clean driving record required).
Current Red Cross First Aid Certification (agency will provide).
