Aircraft Spruce and Specialty is seeking a detail orientated Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate must love working with numbers and enjoy the challenge of deadline driven duties. Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews invoices for approval and other appropriate information.
• Process and enter 300-400 invoices/receipts per week.
• Reconciles Statements as needed
• Process approved adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Accurately codes invoices or receipts in accounting system.
• Works with Customers and Vendors in accurate accounting of invoices/credits.
• Updates and maintains vendor/customer database as needed.
• Researches and prepares reports as needed

Required Skills:

• Associates Degree or equivalent
• > 1 year office experience in an accounting role.
• > 1 year experience using spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel)
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to type 50 words per minute; Ability to use ten-key calculator by touch.
• Lifelong Learner; Interested in trying and learning new skills and/or techniques.
