CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

A manufacturing company located in Franklin Park, IL is looking for a dependable and skilled CNC Operator to join the 2nd shift team. This role will begin with training on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate should have prior CNC machine experience, a strong work ethic, and be able to communicate in basic English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (mills or lathes) safely and efficiently
• Load and unload parts; perform simple machine setups
• Monitor machining operations and make basic adjustments
• Conduct quality checks using tools like calipers and micrometers
• Follow work instructions and read basic blueprints
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures
• Report any issues to supervisors or leads

Requirements:

• Prior CNC operating experience is preferred
• Must be willing to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
• Ability to read and understand basic English (for safety and instructions)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
