Electromechanical Robotics Technician

Position: Electromechanical Robotics Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH

Duration: 3 Month contract, with possible extensions

Hourly Rate: 25/hr to 34/hr

Must Haves:

• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science disciplines.
• Robotics Background 1-2 years of experience in the field
• 2-3 years of experience in service or maintenance engineering, particularly with electromechanical systems.
• 2-3 years of experience within a service environment, handling customer interactions and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently under tight schedules.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software tools.
• Reliable and Trustworthy
• Hands on experience with wiring and use of hand tools

Nice Skills to Have:

• AGV Experience – Automotive Guided Vehicle Systems
• Excellent communcation and organization skills
• Knowledge of Windows OS
• Engineering Background

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for one electromechanical technician to come in support one of its top clients in the Cleveland Ohio area. This individual will be supporting working on multiple of projects. He/she will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining/wiring components within the hospitals AGV vehicles. They will also be responsible for inspecting all electrical components within these vehicles to make sure they all run properly, while being able to operate the necessary computer software’s (will be taught). They will be working hand in hand with the senior technician and also will be expecting to be in a leadership role in the future. Soft skills are very key as they will be speaking to customers on a day to day basis.
