Radon Testing Technician - Now Hiring

This is a position that handles all of the radon tasks for an active Home Inspection Company.

You are:

Detail-oriented, have high-level customer care skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently, unsupervised. You must be organized and have clear communications skills. 

Requirements: 

• Become certified through a radon training program,
• Have a large portion of the work in hours on the road, driving to and from test locations, delivering equipment.  
• Willing to undergo drug testing and background check.
• Possess a valid driving license and have a clean driving record.
• Special plus if you are interested in pursuing a career in Home Inspection

Responsibilities:

• Radon test device test setups/pickups in homes
• Become Certified for radon testing through NRPP (NRPP.org)
• Maintain a record of equipment and record of calibrations
• Make sure all other staff are supported in radon equipment, testing processes, and other activities
• Company vehicle provided, must have a legal parking spot to park a car with commercial plates

Skills necessary:

• Web-based and phone applications
• Google Suite
• Valid MA DL with clean driving record
• Online education

Additional desired skills/background:

Background in Radon, Earth Sciences or Chemistry
Real Estate, Home Inspection, or other related skills
Interest in developing other skills

Approximately 22 hrs./wk, flexible hours and flexible days.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license
• Speaks English
• Math skills: calculating percentages
• Reads English

Preferred qualifications:

• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Own a personal vehicle
• Valid auto liability insurance
• Access to personal devices for work: computer
• Access to personal devices for work: smartphone - any type
• Background check
• Drug screening
• Available to work: weekends
• Available to work: weekdays
• 2-3 years of total work experience
