EHS Manager

Position Overview
The EHS Manager will be responsible for overseeing the environmental, health, and safety programs within our automotive manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement effective safety management practices to foster a safe workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide training and support to employees on EHS practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuously improve EHS performance.
  • Prepare and maintain EHS reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an EHS Manager preferably in the automotive manufacturing sector, but open to industrial manufacturing in general as well.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
