Job Description:

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care to surgical and medical patients, including those with conditions such as CHF, CVA, SOB, diabetic issues, and post-surgical recovery such as total joints, fractures, bariatric, and urology patients. The RN will work in the Med Surg unit with a float assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in unit-specific float requirements and department orientation.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• Experience in a med/surg setting
• Ability to confirm telemetry readings
