We are seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist to join a growing outpatient imaging team in East Brunswick, NJ. This leadership role is ideal for an MRI professional who enjoys mentoring staff, maintaining accreditation standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while working with advanced MRI technology.

- Perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort \n
- Oversee MRI department operations and workflow \n
- Maintain QA/QC documentation required for ACR accreditation and inspections \n
- Coordinate ACR accreditation activities with physicians, physicists, and MRI leadership \n
- Schedule equipment service, maintenance, and physics testing \n
- Manage MRI department inventory and supply ordering \n
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback \n
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and MRI screening procedures \n
- Collaborate with schedulers, front desk teams, site leadership, and clinical staff \n
- Assist with staffing coverage and departmental needs as required \n

- ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT Certification – Required \n
- CPR Certification – Required \n
- Minimum 5 years of MRI experience \n
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and accreditation requirements \n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills \n
- Ability to work independently and lead a team \n

- GE MRI experience \n
- Previous supervisory or lead technologist experience \n
- IV certification for contrast administration \n
- \n
- Starting at $46.00+/hour (based on experience) \n
