A healthcare organization in South Carolina is currently seeking a Medical Oncologist (Physician) to join their team. This is an outpatient assignment offering flexible scheduling, an excellent work-life balance, and the opportunity to provide ongoing coverage while a permanent hire is made. About the Opportunity: Hybrid or Remote: Onsite only Shift: Day shift Schedule: 3-4 days per week Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch Setting: Outpatient General Medical Oncology Patient Volume: 7-15 patients per day Duration: Ongoing coverage until permanent hire Responsibilities: The Oncologist (Physician) will be responsible for: Providing outpatient general medical oncology care Seeing 7-15 patients per day Collaborating with clinic staff and APPs Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation Ensuring a high standard of patient-centered care Qualifications: Fellowship in Oncology - required Board Eligible within 5 years - required Active South Carolina medical license in hand - required Physicians only Desired Skills: Strong clinical judgment and patient care focus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and patient load
