Press Operator

West Side manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Operator for this Full-time position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic math in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Understanding of organization production quotas
• Ergonomics
• General shop and machine safety

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate metal stamping or metalworking machines
• Manipulating or operating various objects
• Indirect labor, cleaning, sweeping, organizing, stacking and packing parts, boxes and pallet assemblies
• Lifting up to 40 lbs
• Report IMMEDIATELY to direct supervisor any changes in the process operation
• Observing and reporting defective or hazardous disruptions or disturbances regarding safety, machine operation or running of defective parts
• Punctuality in arriving on time to report for assigned shift
• Maintain work quotas and projects
• Following instructions including, but not limited to, supervisor instructions; safety procedures and policies as outlined in all manuals
