Job Title: Lab Technician I
Location: Waco, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: Up to $19.01/hr
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
On-site: Yes (no remote option)

Job Overview:
The Lab Technician I will perform routine analytical testing in support of pharmaceutical product quality control. This is a fast-paced, on-site role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility for potential overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine QC analytical testing on pharmaceutical products

• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation (e.g., analytical balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers, total carbon analyzers)

• Conduct basic data interpretation and input results into computer systems

• Maintain lab records in compliance with GMP standards

• Collaborate with team members and follow established protocols

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Associate’s degree with relevant experience

• 0–3 years of experience in a GMP laboratory setting

• Basic laboratory instrumentation experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Experience with HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry techniques

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotech quality control testing

• Familiarity with GMP standards and lab documentation

• Effective problem-solving and communication skills

• Computer proficiency in data entry and lab software
