Inside Sales Associate

PrideStaff is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate for our client, a leading Building Supply Company. Position Overview

You will play a crucial role in driving sales by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing products, providing product expertise, and delivering exceptional service to meet their building supply needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, understand their material requirements, and provide knowledgeable assistance on our range of building supply products.

• Sales Generation: Proactively engage with customers to promote and sell fencing solutions. Utilize effective selling techniques to achieve or exceed sales targets.

• Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our building supply products, including features, benefits, and installation specifications. Educate customers on options and recommend suitable solutions based on their project needs.

• Estimates & Measurements: Accurately assess customer needs by obtaining measurements of installation areas and producing detailed and accurate estimates for materials and accessories.

• Order Management: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, pricing, and delivery details. Coordinate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to fulfill orders promptly.

• Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales and 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office is required. Previous experience in a retail or building materials environment is a strong advantage.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math skills.

• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused mindset, and strong communication skills (written and verbal).

• Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and reaching.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends (as needed). (Expected Hours: No more than 40 hours per week)
