Assistant Controller & Royalty Administrator

The Assistant Controller & Royalty Administrator will support our finance team/Controller by managing royalty reporting, financial reconciliations, commission payments and maintaining accurate financial records for our diverse range of brands.

**LOCATION: Our office is currently located in Boca Raton, however, we will be relocating to Plantation during 1st quarter of year 2026.

Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to:

• Prepares bank borrowing base certificates and related supporting documentation (20th month & last business day).
• Reviews and understands all licensing and distribution contracts in order to facilitate royalty reporting.
• Reconciles and prepares all quarterly royalty reporting.
• Project royalty cash outflow for 6-month cash projection report.
• Assist Analytics Team with monthly MBR for Polo, MK and TH (including any other Licensor monthly/quarterly reports).
• Prepare monthly Champion sale reports to be provided to HBI ABG (for USA & Canada).
• Tracks all financial requirements in distribution agreements (i.e. invoice for shortfalls and/or ensure marketing spend etc.).
• Reconcile Gredico "Commission Payable - Agents" and submit amounts to AP for payment.
• Reconcile and prepare monthly/quarterly sales commission reports and payment for outside "non-employee" salespeople, collaborators and influencers.
• Reconcile and prepare quarterly sales commission payment for Rick Cytrynbaum "Walmart Deal".
• Review and fill in overall financial information on customer setup forms "Customer Profiles" and submit to CFO for approval.
• Inputs and sets-up new first cost customers in Solomon.
• Maintain the international customer payment terms as approved by the CFO - (update customer profiles accordingly).
• Assist with Annual Financial Statement, Royalty and Bank audit work papers/support (as requested)
• Assist the Controller with the monthly closing process (E.g. Footworks reconciliation)
• Reconcile, prepare, or maintain supporting schedules for various balance sheet accounts (quarterly - all companies).
• Any other business as directed by the Controller.

Education, Experience and Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or royalty administration with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and promote a positive team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel and Accounting software or ERP systems.
