Position Overview

* Inpatient ED coverage only | No call
* Average ED Volume: 100 visits/day (1.8 patients/hour)
* Average Inpatient Census: 20
* ICU/Critical Care Duties: Yes
* Respond to All Codes: Yes
* After-Hours Admissions: Managed by Hospitalists
* Procedures: Full scope of standard emergency medicine procedures required

Candidate Requirements

* Licensure Active North Carolina Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
* Board Certification ABEM preferred; ABFM, ABIM, and ABPS accepted with required emergency experience
* Certifications ACLS, ATLS, PALS
* Experience Proficiency in critical care and standard ED procedures
