Gunnison Valley Health is looking for an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in Gunnison, CO for an 8-week assignment.

? Location: 711 N Taylor St, Gunnison, CO 81230

? Facility: Gunnison Valley Health – Level 4 Trauma Center

? Shift: Saturday – Tuesday | 10:00 – 20:30 (FOUR 10-hour shifts)

? Pay Rate: $55/hr | OT: $65/hr | Weekly Gross: $1980

⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 36/wk | OT after 40 hrs

✅ Job Highlights:

• Perform as a generalist in a busy clinical lab
• EPIC and Blood Bank experience REQUIRED
• Must be ASCP certified or equivalent
• Strong background in:
• Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Coagulation
• Phlebotomy and minimal Microbiology
• Able to perform routine & special collections (venipuncture, blood cultures, swabs, difficult draws)
• Must be able to manage time, prioritize, and report STAT results within 30–60 minutes

? Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Med Tech program
• Completed internship in accredited lab
• Strong initiative, judgment, and multitasking ability
