Impact Investing Support Associate Overview

We are seeking a professional to join our growing team and contribute to the financial operations of our mission-driven investment initiatives. The Impact Investing Support Associate will play a critical role in recording transactions, preparing reports, and analyzing both financial and non-financial outcomes tied to community-focused investments. This position offers the opportunity to apply accounting skills in a purpose-driven environment while helping drive measurable social and environmental impact.

Responsibilities of the Impact Investing Support Associate

• Prepare accounting transactions, reports, and other reporting requirements for impact investing funds.

• Record investment activities, including capital deployments, repayments, interest, and exits.

• Document and report on the financial performance of impact investments, including gains, losses, and overall returns.

• Prepare accurate and comparable financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, including tax returns for foundations and nonprofits.

• Contribute to annual impact reports highlighting the social and environmental benefits of investments.

• Assist in the due diligence process by forecasting, managing, and analyzing potential financial and non-financial impacts of prospective investments.

• Use impact data to inform future investment decisions and maximize social and environmental returns.

Qualifications of the Impact Investing Support Associate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent accounting experience.

• Background in fund accounting or property accounting, preferably within the affordable housing industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
