Housekeeper - Full-time / Part-time

We have an immediate opening for a Housekeeper.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintaining cleanliness of Resident’s rooms, bathroom, and the following additional areas according the procedures set forth.  Oxygen room, storage room, medication room, shower rooms, linen rooms, stairwells, offices, staff and public restrooms, elevator and other related areas.

Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis and expect frequent interruptions.  Ability work and cooperate well with other employees.  Must be able to communicate with the residents, family members, vendors and other co-workers in a tactful manner.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma preferred.   On the job training and in-services.   Previous experience in patient care setting preferred.

PHSICAL DEMANDS:

• To be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• To be able to reach, bend, kneel and squat
• To be able to walk and stand on a repetitive and constant basis.
• To be able to use step stools.
• To be able to hear call system, pager signals and spoken English language.
• To be able to wear protective gloves supplied by the facility.
• To be able to be in contact with domestic pets.
