As a Unit Manager Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery.

- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring that all practices meet the required guidelines.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans, ensuring individualized and holistic care.

- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimum unit performance.

- Address and resolve any patient or staff concerns promptly, maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and operational efficiency.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatments, and outcomes.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

- Valid Nursing License (RN/LPN) required in the state of Georgia

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in healthcare software and electronic medical records.

- Ability to handle stressful situations with resilience and professionalism.
