• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (Every Other Weekend required)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6-7, with support from 2 unit techs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,950 - $2,090 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac and pulmonary patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess cardiac and pulmonary telemetry patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development
