Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a current BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care hospital with a 71-bed skilled extended care facility attached
- Inpatient rehab unit with a 1:5 caseload ratio
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Potential to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Cerner EMR system is used; Cerner experience preferred
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Travel pairs accepted
- Free parking is available
- Free hospital housing is provided
- Will work with a multidisciplinary team in a Level IV trauma center
- Responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in the inpatient rehab setting
- No specific dress code color required
- Requests for time off limited to one per contract and one week maximum, with no time off allowed during the first two weeks of orientation
- No radius restriction for local candidates
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state SLP license required; pending license accepted
- At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an inpatient setting
- Current BLS certification required
- FEES, LSVT, or SLP-CF certifications preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- License required if applicable
