Job Description:
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility
- Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant (≥17 weeks gestation), laboring patients, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage), and triage issues
- Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section)
- Common equipment: Fetal Monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation
- Cerner experience required
Requirements / Credentials:
- BLS & ACLS – Required
- NRP – Required
- AWHONN – Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring – Required
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in DC – Required
- L&D Experience – Minimum 2 years
