Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a specialized healthcare team.

Responsibilities Include:

· Performing comprehensive physical examinations of patients

· Managing patient care following established standards and practices

· Communication with collaborating physician and other healthcare providers

· Prescribing necessary medications and treatments

· First assisting in the operating room

· Ability to take some call as assigned and necessary

Qualifications:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing or medicine to provide quality patient care

· Skilled in carrying out physician orders, interpreting physical exam findings to assess medical condition, and documenting observations using EMR

Requirements:

· Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license

· At least 1 year of previous experience as a nurse practitioner preferred

· Fluency in Spanish is desired, but no required
