A Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist role is available in Espanola, NM, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term placement. The role involves ensuring smooth pharmacy operations and delivering excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy technicians, providing top-tier customer service, and counseling patients effectively. You will verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and safety, but will not be responsible for compounding. The pharmacy processes approximately 600 prescriptions daily, providing a fast-paced and engaging work atmosphere.

Schedule:

• Flexible daytime shifts, starting between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM
• Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License required
• Experience with non-sterile compounding verification preferred
• Background in a high-volume retail pharmacy is advantageous
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
