American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Adult Emergency Department position requiring recent Level I/II or III/IV trauma center experience and telemetry proficiency.
Details\n- \n
- Work in a very busy Adult Emergency Department treating 350-440 patients per day across up to 120 treatment areas \n
- Patient ratio of 1:4-5 depending on acuity \n
- Night shift schedule of 12hr shifts, 7p-7:30a, 48 hours per week \n
- Work 2 weekends within a 4 week schedule period \n
- Every other holiday required \n
- 36hr contracts will be considered but 48hr is preferred \n
- Must be flexible to float to Psych ED and Pediatric ED (caring for patients ages 15+ in pediatric unit unless previous pediatric experience) \n
- Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms during this assignment \n
- \n
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS \n
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience, or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience \n
- Must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks \n
- Must pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher \n
- EPIC experience preferred \n
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred \n
- Critical care experience preferred \n

- Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume adult ED setting \n
- Assignment length is 18 weeks and candidates must be able to stay through the end date \n
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered local and paid at a local rate \n
