American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of U.S. hospital experience for a 13-week assignment at a regional medical center in Texas.

- 13-week travel contract \n
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week \n
- Shift hours are approximately 8:00 AM–5:30 PM and may vary depending on coverage needs \n
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n

- Active Texas OT license required (no pending licenses accepted) \n
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience in a U.S. hospital setting required \n
- Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited program required; Master's degree highly desired \n
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only) \n
- CPI certification required \n
- Effective verbal and written communication skills required \n
- Active U.S. SSN required \n
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer \n
- License required if applicable \n

- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services including evaluation, program planning, and treatment administration as part of an interdisciplinary team \n
- Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs upon physician referral \n
- Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care following OT evaluation \n
- Accurately and appropriately document all patient treatment \n
- Adapt effectively to new and changing work assignments \n
