American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at an acute care hospital in Farmington, MO, requiring 2 years of ED experience and a valid MO or compact RN license.

- Works in the Emergency Department of a 107-bed acute care hospital \n
- Night shift schedule: 18:30–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts per week) \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- Floating required between two locations (Farmington and Bonne Terre) \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- Block scheduling is not available \n
- Charting is done in Epic; experience required \n
- Free on-site parking available \n

- Active MO RN license (or compact license) required; pending MO license may be accepted \n
- Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required \n
- Experience with central lines, transvenous pacemakers, and chest tubes required \n
- First-time travelers will be considered only with 2 years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience and the necessary skill set \n
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible \n

- Scrub color: Navy \n
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation \n
- Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler \n
- Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required \n
- No more than 7 days of RTO per contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation \n
