Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures to support patient care.
\nMinimum Requirements
\n- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- Certification: CNMT required.
- State licensure to practice nuclear medicine in Texas (Texas Medical Board).
- BLS certification.
- Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment and cardiac imaging required.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and Texas regulations required.
- Experience in procedures such as bone scans, thyroid scans, renal scans, HIDA, gastric emptying, pulmonary ventilation, liver scans, GI bleed imaging preferred.
- Ability to float to X-Ray when needed.
- Must be self-motivated and work well with others.
Preferred Qualifications
\n- Experience with Y-90 procedures preferred.
- Experience with lymphoscintigraphy procedures preferred.
- Familiarity with MediTech EMR and McKesson PACS preferred.
Assignment Details
\n- Shift hours: 09:30–18:00.
- Rotating on-call responsibilities and willingness to assist with weekend shifts.
- Typical unit equipment: GE nuclear medicine systems.
- Scrub color: Hunter green.
