Bryce Resort is looking to hire now for the upcoming busy season in our Grill location. This is a customer facing position that requires excellent customer service, good communication skills, point-of-sale responsibilities and cooking.

Weekend and holiday shifts required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Operates point of sale and ensures accurate accounting of collections and transactions at the Grill. Prepares food and beverage for sale at the Grill. Exceptional member/patron service is always the primary focus.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receives cash bank at beginning of shift and verifies its accuracy
2. Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions and collections during work shifts
3. Obtains and reviews information regarding food and beverage pricing
4. Collects cash, checks and charge payments
5. Makes change for cash transactions and prepares member or credit card charges
6. Counts money and charge payments in cash drawer at the end of the work shift
7. Reconciles cash receipts and charge sales with total sales to verify accuracy of transactions
8. Turns in cash bank and deposits the daily report with receipts into designated safe
9. Helps keep the dining area neat and clean and keep merchandise stocked
10. Follows standard recipes when prepping and preparing all items
11. Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions
12. Follows all safe and sanitary food handling practices
13. Notifies supervisor in advance of product shortages
14. Returns any unused food to proper food storage areas
15. Cleans and sanitizes food preparation utensils and returns them to the proper area
16. Properly cleans work station and equipment
17. Adheres to all Grill policies and procedures
18. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
19. Performs any other duties as directed
