Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will prepare, administer, and document medications, monitor resident health, and assist with daily care in a safe and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer scheduled medications according to established policies and the Resident Bill of Rights.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and blood glucose.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to supervising nurses.
  • Assist residents with daily activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to provide high-quality resident care.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
  • Knowledge of medication actions, effects, and side effects.
  • Ability to safely administer medications to geriatric residents, including those who may be confused or emotionally upset.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical ability to lift, reposition residents, and maneuver medication carts safely.
