Child & adolescent psychiatrist full-time outpatient

LICENSED CHILD - ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST in California needed full time to join busy psychiatry practice. Partnership or ownership opportunities are available. Very upscale, beautiful office with 11 great support staff and over 10 other happy clinicians in Coastal South Orange County, CA. Seeking licensed, board-certified psychiatrists, fellowship-trained, preferably with experience of at least 2-3 years.

We can customize a 1099 contract, and can discuss retention or other bonuses, and we offer a very high level of practice and staff support, as well as a good pay rate. Why not work where everyone else wants to vacation? The Pacific Ocean is within 5 miles, and Mountain Resorts, Deserts, Los Angeles & San Diego are all only 1 hour away. You can work some days by remote telehealth as a hybrid position, but should be in the office for in-person psychotherapy at least 3 days weekly. Your city of residence must be within driving distance of Ladera Ranch.

About us: multispecialty psychiatry/psychology group in very upscale office in Ladera Ranch CA. First established in 1993, currently with 7 psychiatrists, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 psychotherapists. Our office is very high-tech with paperless documents, advanced Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and a fantastic, smart and happy support staff.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good medical records & typing skills
• DOCTORATE degree (MD or DO)
• Fully licensed in CA as a physician
• Board-certified, or board-eligible in child psychiatry and adolescent psychiatry and planning to take exam.
• NOTE: Master's level degrees/licenses, trainees or interns should NOT apply at this time.
• Active Malpractice Insurance, without malpractice claims or board actions pending.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Full time work can start on credentialing/contracting. Do NOT apply if you want solely telehealth work.
• Practice is owned & managed by physicians, not a corporation!
• Make EMR notes at home or office; extensive training is provided
• We can mentor and train early career psychiatrists
• Payment rate goes up with higher productivity; no upper limit cap, top pay rate!
• Research, teaching, and academic appointments are available
• We treat our providers like family, offering peer review/case conference biweekly

NOTE: do NOT apply if your highest degree is a Bachelor's or Master's -- we are hiring only the doctoral level.
